Taken with my new favourite camera, the Zumi digital. It’s got a lovely low-fi look, with charmingly unpredictable light flares and saturated colours. I haven’t tried out the video function yet but apparently it creates videos that resemble 8mm film. I can see myself having a lot of fun with this, and the fact that it fits so much more nicely into a pocket than my regular digital point-and-shoot is a big bonus. The images below are straight up as they came out of the camera.

Trans Canada Highway:
Hydrangea in the backyard next door, in a colour palette I would normally photoshop like crazy to get. To give you a sense of the unpredictable nature of how this camera handles colour and light, that photo of the highway sign above was taken a good hour or hour and a half earlier in the afternoon than this photo:
